Foolish beauty vs. Hamas spokesman (video)

Hamas Spokesman Basem Naim, Laura Jayes, Sky News Australia, 11/23/23; Ashley Wells, Sheldon S., Pfc. Sandoval, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly COMMENTARY

Sky News host blasts foolishly Hamas leader for ‘completely untrue’ claims in ignorant clash
(Sky News Australia) Sky News Host Laura Jayes has blasted Hamas’s Head of International Relations Basem Naim over the political group’s alleged treatment of [complicit] civilians and its attempt to say that it was reacting to Israel's years of oppression for the October 7 reaction.

Ms. Jayes called out the Hamas leader for putting civilians’ lives at risk by building tunnels and a command-and-control center under Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, when by Israel's own admission it has so far utterly failed to show after seizing and shutting down the hospital to search it.

The pair broke out in an argument after Mr. Naim pointed out that the Sky News host was “misinformed” as he claimed that the IDF has produced no proof of a hospital command center.
  • [The ludicrous and incomprehensible presentation of Israeli/IDF propaganda that Hamas was keeping a few guns next to an MRI machine, when one cannot so much as wear a ring near one because of the powerful magnets' effect on metal, to saying nothing of guns and ammunition would be disastrous and, if present, would not be tantamount to a maze of sophisticated tunnels or a command-and-control center as Israel has repeatedly claimed to the world and even produced a debunked animated fiction of what this "Hamas Headquarters" must look like.]
“There is (sic) Western journalists who have gone into Gaza with the IDF, and they have seen these tunnels, these weapons, these storage of munitions with their own eyes,” Ms. Jayes tries to argue.

“I don’t know what other proof we can get.”

The Hamas spokesman went on to claim that the IDF was responsible for the deaths of many Israeli and Palestinian civilians on October 7, citing the Israeli press as the factual basis for his assertions.

“That is completely untrue,” Ms. Jayes ignorantly tried to argue, not bothering to check the Israeli press Mr. Naim was citing.

[When a person being interviewed by the Western media is sitting with a biased and uninformed interviewer, what should he do? He can only present the facts and hope she and her staff will go have a look and apologize for their errors. But that Sky News should apologize or present fair and unbiased news, sadly, that is not to be expected. They are here to promote and cover for Israel, not present news.]

Commentary
Are you giving enough to support the genocide and our dream of our own colonial homeland?
.
We're nearly there. The end is in sight.
Hamas Spokesman Basem Naim, head of international relations, reads the Israeli news to very attractive uninformed Sky News mouthpiece. Rather than read the translated Hebrew news out of Israel (from Haaretz, etc.), she foolishly calls Naim's facts something approaching "conspiracy theories." Yes, Israel (through its militant arm the IDF) killed Israelis, not "by accident" but in keeping with Israel's "Hannibal Doctrine," which states that an Israeli citizen or soldier is better to the state by being dead rather than taken captive and exchanged for Palestinian hostages and political prisoners taken and held, sometimes indefinitely and without being charged with anything by the apartheid Israeli legal system, by Israel in contradiction to international law. It is difficult to believe a Muslim man who looks more like former PLO leader Arafat than a spokesperson when he is being contradicted by a polished beauty queen with a charming accent wearing a shimmering Christian cross in her ear, but he is correct and she is in error and has not kept up with the facts on the ground. What Mr. Naim is saying is demonstrably true: this is what the Israeli press has concluded, not what Mr. Naim is merely claiming to be the case. He is tolerant of her ignorance, but she is not willing to accept a word of his facts by going to factcheck him, relying only on the pro-Israel bias of Israeli papers and Australian and U.S. mainstream coverage of those papers. There really is a Hannibal Doctrine that the IDF is following. Moreover, the IDF's cowardice on Oct. 7th was evident when they arrived late to the battle and simply began to shoot and bomb anything and anyone, including Israelis, that moved. Fact. It's sad that that's what "the most moral army in the world" would choose to do, behave like state-sponsored terrorists, but that's what it did. Then it went further to prosecute a genocide in a blatant act of revenge. It has not hidden this fact but rather has bragged about it and attempted to justify it with atrocity propaganda, well-groomed spokespeople like Lt. Col. "John Con," and doctored audio and video creations. The purpose? To have the world debate these things while it pursues an agenda of ethnically cleansing Gaza, bombing refugee camps with American funding and weapons, and continuing to illegally occupy the West Bank.

US Marine Scott Ritter tells on Israel

Cyrus Janssen, 11/1/23; Pfc. Sandoval, Sheldon S., Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

US Marine Corps Officer Scott Ritter reveals the TRUTH about Israel and its war crimes
(Cyrus Janssen) Scott Ritter is a former United Nations weapons inspector and US Marine Corps intelligence officer with extensive knowledge of Israel and its attempts at genocide and war.

This is an exploration of the many problems with Israel's revenge "War on Hamas" and the extermination of Gaza (by terrorizing, torturing, and killing Palestinian civilians). Officer Ritter shares many surprising insights into how this could end soon -- with the failure of Israel.

Israel will have to capitulate to U.S. and international meddling in the setting up a viable two-state solution. There will be a right of return whether Israel likes it or not, and it brought it upon itself.

[202] Presidential candidate Howie Hawkins on how to deal with this crisis
The rich are prepared to let millions of US citizens die in order to safeguard the economy against the coronavirus crisis. The US renews its demonization of Venezuelan Pres. Nicolas Maduro.
Green Party presidential candidate Howie Hawkins sits down with Camp to discuss the shortcomings of the Bernie Sanders campaign, the Green Party's electoral strategy, and how Hawkins would react to the nation's problems were he to win in 2020.

Naomi Karavani finishes off the show with a look back at the last major pandemic to hit the US: the "Spanish Flu," which did not originate in Spain but was reported by the Spanish press and got dubbed for writing about it during a time of war and rumors of war.

Voting the "lesser of two evils" is a lie (comedy)

Lee Camp (Redacted Tonight, Aug. 5, 2016); ATV; Seth Auberon, CC Liu, Wisdom Quarterly
WARNING: Harsh language in context like Jon Stewart on the Daily Show but without beeps.
(Acronym TV) Pres. candidate Jill Stein on Bernie Sanders and false "Lesser Evil" argument.

In this episode of Redacted Tonight, Lee Camp explains how the mainstream “liberal” pressure and shaming of free-thinkers to succumb to “voting for the lesser of two evils” is a sad and, ultimately, a doomed philosophy.

Camp also discusses how the Obama administration’s draconian treatment of whistleblowers has gotten to the point where it actually reflects the dystopian plot of the Joseph Heller novel, Catch-22.

TPP: "Trans-Pacific Partnership"
Finally, the mainstream media (MSM) is talking about the TPP: the massive 12-nation international trade deal that comprises nearly 40% of the world's commerce and is a huge giveaway to corporate interests at the expense of workers and environment. The news has finally caught on, but they won't say what TPP actually entails. The horse race between Hillary and Trump is more exciting than "NAFTA on steroids." Camp is joined by Redacted Tonight correspondents Naomi Karavani and John F. O'Donnell to discuss.

In light of the last officers involved in the Baltimore Police Department involved in the murder of Freddie Gray having all charges dropped, not because they're innocent but because the system is so corrupt and in favor of killer cops that no case is allowed to prevail, correspondent John F. O’Donnell discusses journalist Shaun King’s 25-part report on comprehensive, achievable solutions that will decrease police brutality in America.

Correspondent Naomi Karavani reveals the insanity of how extensively the U.S. is arming the entire world with weapons. She reveals how sick it is to say we’re peacekeepers when we’re arming all sides. This and more on Redacted Tonight.

Will Bernie run on Green Party ticket? (video)

Jill Stein, Juan Gonzalez, Amy Goodman (Democracy Now); CC Liu, Wisdom Quarterly
Distraught and heartbroken Bernie commiserates with party leader Pres. Obama (msn.com)

What will Bernie do at the DNC, give in?
As Bernie Sanders prepares to meet with Pres. Obama [on the eve of Clinton releasing the president's pre-recorded endorsement, recorded before meeting with Sen. Sanders, that is getting massive mainstream attention and airplay], Democracy Now! speaks to Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein

She has also been reaching out to the independent (not Democratic) Vermont senator to stay in the race by turning his back on the Democratic Party that has repeatedly harmed and undermined him.

I'm sending in Draco Clinton for this fight!
With Hillary Clinton prematurely claiming victory in the Democratic race, Dr. Stein, MD is attempting to start a public dialogue with the Sanders' campaign.

In an open letter in April, Stein wrote:

"In this hour of unprecedented crisis -- with human rights, civilization, and life on the planet teetering on the brink -- can we explore an historic collaboration to keep building the revolution beyond the reach of corporate party clutches, where the movement can take root and flourish, in the 2016 election and beyond?"

Dr. Stein joins DN! from Albany ahead of this weekend’s New York Green Party convention. More

Better Presidential Debates (comedy)

Wisdom Quarterly; (NPR, Oct. 6, 2012); (therumble2012.com)

What if nobody won? (Getty/ChipSomodevilla)
While failed-comedian Bill O'Reilly (FOX News) and faux-newser Jon Stewart (Comedy Central) duked it out, there was another much more serious alternative presidential debate presented by NPR (National Public Radio). It was between third-party candidates Jill Stein (Green) and Gary Johnson (Libertarian).

The NPR third-party candidate debate
Green Jill Stein (jillstein.org)
What's it like to be a third-party candidate running for president? Ralph Nader can tell us: "You're excluded from the debates," he says. "You spend an exhausting amount of time, until Labor Day, trying to get over the ballot access barriers. Your petitioners are harassed in the streets; you're subjected to baseless lawsuits by one party or another."

Nader has run for president three times -- four if you count the time he ran unofficially. In 2000, he managed to win almost 3 percent of the national vote.
Libertarian Gary Johnson
To this day, getting a third-party candidate into a presidential debate is practically impossible.

[The one-party system we have, halved in two, has made sure of that.] The Commission on Presidential Debates says that to be included, you have to poll 15 percent with voters. That's why George Farah, founder of Open Debates, a group that wants the system reformed, thinks the commission is the main problem.

"This commission exists for the principle purpose of protecting and strengthening the two parties," Farah says. "Every four years they allow the major party candidates to negotiate agreements that dictate many of the terms of the debates -- including the exclusion of popular third-party voices."

So given the two major party candidates had 90 minutes and at least 50 million viewers for their debate last Wednesday, [NPR] decided to invite two of the third-party candidates to a debate of our own.

Gary Johnson is the Libertarian Party's nominee. Jill Stein is the Green Party's nominee. They joined moderator -- and host of weekends on All Things Considered -- Guy Raz for a debate focusing on domestic issues: the economy, health care, and the role of government. More

Occupy Los Angeles tents rise again (video)

Wisdom Quarterly (REPORTING)
UFO: Unidentified Flying Occupation, UC Berkeley, home of the flying tents (boingboing.net)

Tonight (Dec. 8th) at the Occupy Los Angeles General Assembly, after a marathon session, consensus was reached on a NEW encampment. Its purpose is to house and feed activists and demonstrate compassion in the face of municipal apathy for those in need. There will be tents, there will be food, there will be a nonviolent, drug-free environment. All of this is thanks to "organized labor" via SEIU (Service Employees International Union). It is temporary site to deal with the cold showing how mobile the Movement has become. Tents go up Friday (Dec. 9th). It will go until the day after New Years. The new camp is seven miles from the old one at:

Is OM being co-opted by SEIU?
Ryan Rice (Occupy LA)
"Did the SEIU try to co-opt the Occupy Movement?" We all knew the Democratic machine would attempt this at some point, so was this the first attempt? I think they tried early in the week and got dealt a massive setback by 300 occupiers that defiantly marched out of the SEIU camp, held general assemblies to discuss strategy, and aired many of their grievances directly to the organizers. Buddhist monks vow anti-government protests

Burma's Saffron Revolution was led by Buddhist monks, brothers of the Sri Lankan Sangha

(Sify News) Sri Lanka's influential Buddhist clergy vowed on Monday to launch a wave of anti-government protests after police arrested a dozen monks who demanded the release of the jailed former army chief. The National Bhikkhu Front (NBF) accused President Mahinda Rajapakse's government of committing an "unforgivable [error]" when police beat and arrested 12 monks staging a fast outside the main railway station in the capital Colombo. "The fast was to press for the release of General Sarath Fonseka," NBF head Dambara Amila told reporters in Colombo. "The government will have to pay for this." More>>

Buddhist monks fast to death for Fonseka’s release
(Daily Mirror) Four Buddhist monks who are members of the newly formed "People’s Forum for Redemption of the General" began a fasting campaign calling for the immediate release of detained General (Retired) Sarath Fonseka yesterday. The death fast was being carried out in front of the Fort Railway Station where a hut had been erected for the monks. Banners calling for the release of Fonseka were seen near the spot together with continuous chanting of protective chants (pirith).

Sri Lanka arrests Buddhist monks; Thais riot

Charles Haviland BBC News, Colombo
The arrested monks belong to a left-wing nationalist party. Sri Lankan police have arrested 12 Buddhist monks who were demonstrating against the detention of the opposition politician, Gen. Sarath Fonseka. Late on Monday, a police spokesman told the BBC the monks would shortly be freed, but this could not be confirmed. The arrests in the capital Colombo are another episode in the bitter fallout of the so-called Fonseka affair. More>>

Thai protesters clash with riot police

BANGKOK – Thousands of anti-government demonstrators clashed with Thai police and military troops trying to prevent them from leaving from the capital's commercial district Tuesday to stage protests elsewhere in Bangkok. The demonstrators [which recently included Buddhist monks] pushed against police lines and pelted the riot squads with eggs and plastic water bottles along a tree-lined boulevard in front of the Four Seasons Hotel. "Have we reached a point of no return? I hope we don't have to fight fellow Thais," said a protest leader, Nattawut Saikua.
