Could "RoboCop" prototypes such as this one be utilized in hunting down parolees, accused perpetrators, criminals, and any Black person late to work? The mind boggles. But Larry Ellison, David Ellison, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and other tech billionaires probably have a strong opinion on the matter.

Sadly, no one has yet rigged artificial intelligence to crack the code and decipher the ancient Indus Valley Civilization language of this area and/or what was spoken in Harappa (since it seems to not have been an early/archaic form of Vedic Sanskrit as one might guess).
WARNING: Who is your mother? It is your current mother. The others were past mother so are not your mother. Do not cling even to your current, beneficial, wonderful mother. If you refuse to repay them, okay then let them be. You are missing out on a rare chance because no ordinary karma is so powerful as what we do to or for our parents. They are like the Buddha for us, so valuable and extra-meaningful is what we do to and for them. That is how karma is. This is part of right view as the Buddha defined it. And because of wrong view, we suffer much. To not suffer, let us have confidence and believe the Buddha. Above all karmas is one karma: making an end of karma. And how do we do that? Awaken, know-and-see, and touch nirvana.

(Alan Peto) UNITED STATES. Mother's Day is a popular holiday, but is there a Buddhist equivalent? Did the Buddha ever speak of "mothers"? Yes, often! In addition to past lives, karma (actions) supporting his parents, he helped one of his closest disciples in a practice to help his mother who was reborn as a hungry ghost (preta). This became so popular among laypersons that there is a festival for it. We can also practice loving-kindness, compassion, and generosity for mothers right here and now. These are foundational Buddhist values that are perfect for Mother's Day (and every day).
Is the first video mockery? Whether said in jest or semi-seriously, it is nevertheless profoundly true. How long is samsara? That's easy to answer but, first, What exactly is samsara?
Samsara is the "Endless Cycle of Rebirth," the spinning "Wheel of Life and Death," the "Revolving in the Ocean of Death, Suffering, and Rebirth" because every time one dies, one meets with rebirth -- and this has been going on since the beginningless past and will go on into the unforeseeable future.

Hooray for moms! Can we agree that when we first began as a single cell, we were already composed of two halves embedded in a mother (or petri dish), cared for by a mother (or lab workers), and someone somewhere was a father, participating or not. Parents are very important because parenthood is karma. We are fortunate in having parents, but this fortune is not for nothing. We, too, have been mothers.
And samsara is so long, has been going on for so many billions of years and far longer than that, for aeons (kalpa) without discernible beginning, which is not to say there was no beginning but only to say that no beginning is visible, apparent, or sensible to our logic and assumptions about its nature. What is the nature of an answer that would fit the question? It must satisfy the question based on our other assumptions. So if we ask, "When did it all begin?" we are in no way prepared for the real answer. We're only hitting our head against a paradox of our own making.

The oldest religion in the world is insane
(Gnostic Informant) Proto-Indo-European mythology is the body of myths and deities (devas) associated with the Proto-Indo-Europeans, the hypothetical speakers of the reconstructed Proto-Indo-European language.
Although the mythological motifs are not directly attested to -- because Proto-Indo-European speakers lived in preliterate societies -- scholars of comparative mythology have reconstructed details from inherited similarities found among Indo-European languages, based on the assumption that parts of the Proto-Indo-Europeans' original belief systems survived in the daughter traditions.
The Proto-Indo-European pantheon includes a number of securely reconstructed deities because they are both cognates (linguistic siblings with a common origin) and associated with similar attributes and body of myths.
These include: *Dyḗws Ph₂tḗr, the daylight-sky god, his consort *Dʰéǵʰōm, the Earth Mother, his daughter *H₂éwsōs, the Goddess of Dawn, his sons the Divine Twins, and *Seh₂ul, a Solar Goddess.
Some deities, like the weather god *Perkʷunos [Sakka/Indra], or the herding-god *Péh₂usōn, are only attested to in a limited number of traditions -- Western (European) and Greco-Aryan, respectively -- and could therefore represent late additions that did not spread throughout the various Indo-European dialects.
Some myths are also securely dated to Proto-Indo-European times because they feature both linguistic and thematic evidence of an inherited motif:
There's a story portraying a mythical figure associated with thunder and slaying a multi-headed serpent to release torrents of water that had previously been pent up and
a creation myth involving two brothers, one of whom sacrifices the other in order to create the world;
and probably the belief that the Otherworld was guarded by a watchdog and could only be reached by crossing a river.
Various schools of thought exist regarding possible interpretations of the reconstructed Proto-Indo-European mythology.
The main mythologies used in comparative reconstruction are Indo-Iranian, Baltic, Roman, and Norse, often supported with evidence from the Celtic, Greek, Slavic, Hittite, Armenian, Illyrian, and Albanian traditions as well.
One of the earliest attested to and thus one of the most important of all Indo-European mythologies is Vedic mythology, especially the mythology of the Rig-veda, the oldest of the Vedas.
Early scholars of comparative mythology such as Friedrich Max Müller stressed the importance of Vedic mythology to such an extent that they practically equated it with Proto-Indo-European myths.
Modern researchers have been much more cautious, recognizing that, although Vedic mythology is still central, other mythologies must also be taken into account.
Another of the most important source mythologies for comparative research is Roman mythology. The Romans possessed a very complex mythological system, parts of which have been preserved through the characteristic Roman tendency to rationalize their myths into historical accounts.
Despite its relatively late attestation, Norse mythology is still considered one of the three most important of the Indo-European mythologies for comparative research, due to the vast bulk of surviving Icelandic material.
Baltic mythology has also received a great deal of scholarly attention, as it is linguistically the most conservative and archaic of all surviving branches but has so far remained frustrating to researchers because the sources are so comparatively late.
Nonetheless, Latvian folk songs are seen as a major source of information in the process of reconstructing Proto-Indo-European myth. Despite the popularity of Greek mythology in western culture,
Greek mythology is generally seen as having little importance in comparative mythology due to the heavy influence of Pre-Greek and Near Eastern cultures, which overwhelms what little Indo-European material can be extracted from it.
Consequently, Greek mythology received minimal scholarly attention until the first decade of the 21st century.
Although Scythians are considered relatively conservative in regard to Proto-Indo-European cultures, retaining a similar lifestyle and culture, their mythology has very rarely been examined in an Indo-European context and infrequently discussed in regard to the nature of the ancestral Indo-European mythology.
At least three deities -- Tabiti, Papaios, and Api -- are generally interpreted as having Indo-European origins, while the remaining have seen more disparate interpretations.
Influence from Siberian, Turkic [Anatolian, Asia Minor], and even Near Eastern beliefs, on the other hand, are more widely discussed in literature.

8,000-Year-Old Indus Valley Civilization: Mohenjo-daro and Harappa
For several decades academia has claimed to know the ages of our planet’s oldest known civilizations. They have given us precise timelines that essentially make up what we know of as our historical paradigm. At the same time independent researchers and scholars question and challenge these timelines as being inconsistent and in many cases incorrect. Perhaps the best example of this inaccuracy is the age of the Indus Valley Civilization (IVC). For over a century Western academics have taught that the IVC is about 5,500 years old. It was recently determined that they were off by at least 2,500 years.

They'll have us believing we were all blood thirsty "savages" hungry for human sacrifice when the invaders brought such unthinkable ideas and savagery to the spread and maintenance of empire as to put all the Old World people to shame and subjugation. But it is these people and their students doing the anthropological research, standing on the shoulders of implicitly biased scientists exercising the rigor of the laurels they sit upon. In other words, we are forced to believe what we are told by outsiders and conquerors (Conquistadors) because they get the funding and tell tales reassuring to the current power structure. If only we had bold and daring science that could successfully question its own assumptions and get us closer to the truth.

According to Buddhist cosmology, the Titans (asuras) were cast out of their nearby world in space onto Earth. Angry and upset, they have taken it out on humans and space dwelling beings ever since. Of course, this is the province of "mythology" and it is well known. But mythology itself should be understood not as shaman fantasy or epic poetry, but as humankind's oldest history. It has survived around the world in countless cultures because we are collectively remembering a history that was difficult to endure, recover from, and retain. Even when written records exist (Indian, Egyptian, Sumerian, Tibetan, proto-Judeo-Christian, Mesoamerican), we instantly discount that as myth as well. Can we do the same for more modern records that again tell the tale of giants that roamed even this continent and country and mated with modern humans?

At one time a much more ancient race roamed the plains and deserts of pre-Columbian America. The evidence of their existence and their passing is related in Native-American folklore, the logs of world-famous explorers, and their desiccated bones -- now carelessly strewn about the sites of their ancient communities.
Some present day Native American tribes continue to recite the legends of the giants and how their ancestors fought brutal wars against them when they arrived in North America 15,000 years ago only to find the giants already here.
Others, like the Aztecs and Mayans, recorded their encounters with a race of giants to the north when they ventured out on exploratory expeditions. More
Either it is true or it is not. Either there is an opening under the clouds or there is not. It would not be hard to check -- if it were legal to fly over the poles. It would not be hard to sail there -- as Dr. Brooks Agnew set out to do before being frustrated at every turn by US officials well outside of their jurisdiction. How could we have Aurora Borealises over both poles simultaneously if it's caused by solar winds? How could birds fly toward the antarctic pole for winter? Why are there no photos of these parts of the planet? Why does Google Earth block or doctor images of this area? Why do images of the poles from cameras in space not get released? Why can we look up any and everything but not so simple a thing as topographical maps of wasteland snow, sea, and tundra?
Historical linguists broadly estimate that a continuum of Indo-Iranian languages probably began to diverge by 2000 BC, if not earlier[1]:38–39 preceding both the Vedic and Iranian cultures.
Archaeological cultures associated with Indo-Iranian migrations (after EIEC). The Andronovo, BMAC and Yaz cultures have often been associated with Indo-Iranian migrations. The GGC, Cemetery H, Copper Hoard and PGW cultures are candidates for cultures associated with Indo-Aryan movements.
The Indo-Iranians and their expansion are strongly associated with the chariot. It is assumed that this expansion went into the Caucasus, the Iranian plateau, and South Asia. They also expanded into Mesopotamia and Syria and introduced the horse and chariot culture to this part of the world. Sumerian texts from EDIIIb Ngirsu (2500-2350 BC) already mention the "chariot" (gigir) and Ur III texts (2150-2000 BC) mention the horse (anshe-zi-zi).
They left linguistic remains in a Hittite horse-training manual written by one "Kikkuli the Mitannian". Other evidence is found in references to the names of Mitanni rulers and the gods they swore by in treaties; these remains are found in the archives of the Mitanni's neighbors. The time period for this is about 1500 BC.[2]:257
The standard model for the entry of the Indo-European languages into South Asia is that this first wave went over the Hindu Kush, either into the headwaters of the Indus and later the Ganges. The earliest stratum of Vedic Sanskrit, preserved only in the Rigveda, is assigned to roughly 1500 BC.[3][2]:258 From the Indus, the Indo-Aryan languages spread from c. 1500 BC to c. 500 BC, over the northern and central parts of the subcontinent, sparing the extreme south.

The Indo-Aryans in these areas established several powerful kingdoms and principalities in the region, from eastern Afghanistan to the doorstep of Bengal. The most powerful of these kingdoms were the post-Rigvedic Kuru (in Kurukshetra and the Delhi area) and their allies the Pañcālas further east, as well as Gandhara and later on, about the time of the Buddha, the kingdom of Kosala and the quickly expanding realm of Magadha. The latter lasted until the 4th century BC, when it was conquered by Chandragupta Maurya and formed the center of the Mauryan empire.
