We all have the potential to lean more towards one polarity or the other and alternate and change with the seasons or go out of balance. Divine masculine energy, also referred as “Shiva” (and the lingam) deals with aspects such as logic, structure, and making plans for life, whereas “Shakti” is the divine feminine energy, which deals with emotions, intuitions, dreams, creativity, and such.
When these energies go out of balance, we feel undervalued and stressed or unsupported and strained, faulty and absentminded. When our energies are in harmony, we feel a greater sense of presence, of being in the moment, with peace and compassion.
We feel more energized and better connected with others. When it comes to frequency and sound, deep and low frequencies resonate with the masculine energy, whereas higher frequencies tend to resonate more with the feminine energies.
This specially composed music combines both low and hig energy frequencies in the natural tuning of 432Hz.
In addition, balancing both energies can be supported by chanting a mantra ("thought instrument"), such as "OM." Chant while listening if needed. Or if it feels better to just let the music play, then this is what’s best.

This year's International Women's Day comes on the eve of a planned "women's strike" in Mexico Monday.
Spurred on by feminist activists, the strike comes in the wake of intensifying protests and demands for government actions against the often grisly murders of women in the country.
Marta Patricia RamΓrez, a housewife, told the wire service she organized a neighborhood event to discuss harassment. Dentist Jesica Solis will keep her office closed. Marta PΓ©rez told the AP she won't lift a plate Monday and that her daughter will not go on social media.
The strike has also gotten the go-ahead from many large employers in Mexico. Walmart says its 108,000 female workers are allowed to join the action. Ford, banking and media company Grupo Salinas, and baked goods producer Bimbo are supporting the movement, The Washington Post adds.
The Post also reports that 21 million women are registered as workers in Mexico.
In the days leading up to the strike, women have been out in force with thousands attending events. On Saturday a concert performed entirely by female artists packed Mexico City's Zocalo, the metropolis's main square. Attendees chanted "justice" as a singers performed the anti-femicide anthem, "Song Without Fear," the AP reports.
On Sunday, activists painted more than 3,000 names of victims across that same square. Some 20,000 were expected to march in the Mexican capital Sunday.
In Chile, there were several reports of clashes with police and a handful of arrests. In the capital Santiago, reports of crowd size conflicted, with organizers saying 2 million marchers flooded the streets while police said it was only 120,000.
The march happened amid ongoing tensions in Chile. Sometimes-violent anti-government protests over social inequality began in October and continue sporadically. Marchers on Sunday decried abuses they said Chile's security services carried out against women during those protests.

Organizers and marchers have been out marking International Women's Day. A holiday with its origins in the labor and socialist movements of the 20th century, the day now recognized by the United Nations occasions rallies and events from Caracas to Baghdad to spotlight issues facing women globally.
This year, rallies in Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan were met with violence while marchers in Turkey and Chile were confronted by police. The COVID-19 outbreak forced cancellations while others boldly marched, defying fears of the epidemic.

- Coronavirus: events canceled, others march despite fears
Regions hit hardest by the spreading coronavirus outbreak felt its impact on International Women's Day celebrations. Both South Korea and China — the countries reporting the highest rates of infections — called off public events.
China used the day to highlight work of female medical staff fighting the coronavirus outbreak. Elsewhere in Asia, The Bangkok Post reports marches went ahead in Indonesia, the Philippines, as well as in Thailand, where women demanded increased labor protections and greater rights.
While Italy, the European country with the greatest number of infections, was in partial lockdown Sunday, celebrations, rallies and marches continued on as planned across the continent, according to Voice of America.

Clashes at International Women's Day marches
Not every celebration of the day of women's rights advocacy went peacefully. In several countries, marchers were faced with opposition by both religious hardliners as well as local authorities.
In Islamabad, Pakistan, demonstrators at a rival rally of hardline Islamists attempted to break through a police barrier, hurling objects, including shoes and stones, at women participating in the march.

Islamist attackers were particularly enraged by one slogan of the International Women's Day ralliers, "My body, my choice!"
In Kyrgyzstan, women were also reportedly attacked by masked men, then detained by police while organizing a women's day event in the capital Bishkek.

In Turkey, police blocked hundreds of women in Istanbul from entering the city's Taksim Square. The roads leading to the city's famed square were closed because they were "not classified as designated areas for assembly and demonstrations according to law," says a governor's statement quoted by Reuters.

"India's Daughter" (banned rape documentary)

(TRFI) BANNED documentary "India's Daughter" is a powerful film by Leslee Udwin about the gang rape and murder of Jyoti Singh which set India alight. It was banned in India but shown recently on the BBC in England when India failed to stop it. Its broadcast is planned as part of International Women's Day 2015. The BBC moved up its broadcast to March 4 2015.

The director of "India's Daughter" flees India out of fear she'll be arrested

The worldwide release of controversial documentary "India's Daughter" was set for March 8, to mark International Women's Day. But a preview that was released Wednesday stirred such a controversy that India's government moved to halt the film's distribution entirely, and the film's producer moved up its release in Britain to Wednesday night.
The documentary, produced by the BBC and Storyville, explores the controversy and judicial case surrounding the fatal gang rape of a 23 year-old student in 2012.
Government officials in India sought -- and received -- an injunction preventing the film's release and prohibiting the publication of printed excerpts.
The documentary contains in-depth interviews with one of the six convicted rapists, a not-at-all-contrite Mukesh Singh, who is currently on death row.
We emphasize along with Director Leslee Udwin in saying this rapist and the other rapists are NOT the problem! They are symptoms of the problem. And the horrible state decision to kill him will in no way solve the problem. As Singh explains, it will actually worsen it as rapists become murderers in vain and fearful attempts to cover up their horrific crimes, a logical thing to do if the state will kill you for not doing it. When people cry for blood, cry for murder, cry for long prison sentences, punish-punish-punish, they are WORSENING the problem, continuing rape, aggravating criminality, washing their hands of it as if punishment prevented future crime or reconciled past crime. Instead we must do something. The cultures of the world, the institutions, the SEXISM are the problem, not some rapists sitting in jail. Most rapists are not in jail and never will be. Cry for victims, cry for the blood of perpetrators (also victims), and do nothing? Or cry and do something to save everyone? We don't have to have been raped to have been oppressed and harmed by sexism in all of our daily lives. It is not females alone who are damaged by sexism, patriarchy, distorted hypermasculinity, bias, prejudice, and separation of the biological sexes. Males are harmed, too! Inequality, unfairness, discrimination hurt and harm everyone, ruin society, cost us all the potential contributions of more than half the population. Race is fluid, a social construct, now we see that sex is, too. All of this homosexual, intersexual, transsexual, bisexual, and asexual backlash is due, we think, in large part to centuries of oppression of the sexes and sexual expression. Religion is much to blame, but racist/sexist science is hardly innocent in this arena. So whether you come as a scientist or religionist, JOIN US in taking down the dominant paradigm, the patriarchy, if you can. Why couldn't you? If someone defends this system, it is almost certain he or she is benefiting from this system or, to put it more tersely: "If you think the system is working, you probably work for the system."

"The people who are saying this must not be seen, have not seen it," said film director Leslee Udwin.
"Let them spend one hour and see it and all of this nonsense will fall away because there is no ground, whatsoever to ban this film. It’s a responsible film, it's in the public interest -- it must be seen."

Now back in her London home, Udwin fled India out of fear of being arrested. Singh's comments during his interview show no remorse for his actions. At one point he tells Udwin that the victim should not have fought back while she was being raped.
Despite pressure from the Indian government, the BBC aired documentary on the BBC4 channel Wednesday night. But Udwin is pleading with Indian officials to air the documentary in the country where it was made.
