After 30 years of being missing, Family Guy's LOST pilot has finally been found! Today let's talk about the major differences between the pilot and what eventually became Season 1, Episode 1 of the series Fox TV ordered from creator and animator Seth MacFarlane.
In the beginning, MacFarlane pitched a 16-minute pilot to Fox in May 1998, and the show was greenlit and began production. Then came the Family Guy controversies. By 2002, Family Guy'scancellation was announced shortly after the third season had aired, with one unaired episode eventually premiering on Adult Swim in 2003, finishing the series' original run. Favorable DVD sales and high ratings from syndicated reruns since then convinced Fox to revive the show in 2004; the fourth season began airing the following year, on May 1, 2005. The end.
WARNING: May offend sensitive viewers. This short film is not a documentary but a creative project depicting the difficulty, the impossibility, of modern dating scenarios. Gender roles are changing (which is probably for the better), yet we are still at a rocky time of great transition.
The new Wisdom Quarterly credit/debt card
Men will no longer approach. Women are lonely but not lonely enough to approach men. LGBTQIA+ behavior is on the rise. Could these things be related? Females of this generation are, it is reported in the mainstream media, which may have an agenda, at 30% bisexuality. Only the media is doing all it can to better brand the practice as abrosexuality, gynosexuality, polysexuality, pansexuality, asexuality, and on and on. By our count there are five orientations (hetero-, homo-, bi-, pan-, and asexuality) and 117 genders (just kidding, but who can keep track, so let's say masculine, feminine, androgynous or nonbinary, neuter, and pandaka). The last of these is a controversial term of ancient origin, which originally meant something like pervert or transgressive of social norms, so could include crossdressing, homosexuality, pansexuality, twin-spirit, freaky, bestial, post-molestation acting out). That might make all the groupings.
The LGBT+ community will, of course, not be satisfied without many more distinctions, but distinctions without a difference do not help much if all we're doing is trying to escape negative connotations that have built up around previous terms. For we will then always be changing the wording. No one wants to be cisgender when most of us do not even know what cis means. Unless one is in a women or gender studies class and keeping one's head down, taking prodigious notes, it is hopeless to try to keep up. And nearly all those people come under the term "bisexual" or "try-sexual," because they might try anything. It's only pushing us toward Candace Owens and the Whatever-style podcasts of conservative wankers who make tight arguments and funny TikTok videos. So wake up to the fact that things are out of sorts and, therefore, people are going to make funny and insightful shorts like this. Tolerate it. It's not the job of the world to not offend. Will we carpet the rocky world or get a pair of sandals? Watch, enjoy, or move on. Better yet, leave a comment as to what relevant short (or TikTok length) video YOU would like to see and have others see.
We have to be able to make fun of the news and our culture, or what's the point in talking about anything? For those who wash their hands of it, great. Have a happy life. For those of us who remain in the fray, What the H we're we thinking? We should have bailed out like the others. But we're here, so let's make fun. That's what standup comedy is for and voices like comedian-commentator Jimmy Dore. Turn on, tune in, drop out -- you see how well it worked for the hippies. They're all enlightened now, right? The human world is a strange place with a unique quality that makes it a good place to learn things. We are between the celestial world where things are better and the animal and subhuman world where things are much worse. So it's like we're not high on a mountain or safely on the ground, yet we're not drowning out at sea. We're right in the tumult of the surf, often able to crawl onto land after being tossed about or just on the verge of going under. Swim! Stay afloat. There's no calm here, no safety. It's time to reach the further shore.
Whereas wiser people would refrain from doing or saying or showing anything that might offend anyone, we are not that wise. So readers will forgive us any offense we may cause and understand that it is our goal to awaken, arouse curiosity about the world around us and the true nature of reality, to reveal hypocrisy (while possibly coming off as hypocrites), explore conspiracies, question reality and reject the mainstream media narrative everywhere we can. It's like that great Christian saying, "We're here to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable" if what we do had to be summarized in a slogan. Peace.

The public is outraged, causing thousands of fans to unsubscribe amid the backlash. A petition to deplatform the creator Wolfie has almost reached its goal.
And past drama resurfaces, revealing SSSniperWolf’s questionable behavior. When a feud verges on dangerous grounds, what point is it too far? Let’s unravel the feud gone wrong.

✨New Age Chick steals parking space from the wrong guy (w/JP Sears) 🔮
(Chandler Juliet) Crystals cannot replace character. It's time to get woke, but a phony, pseudo, fake awakening just won't do. Anyone can talk the talk, but who among us can walk the walk? Is it NAC or JP Sears?
"You stole my parking space!"
"I have had my aura expanded to each corner of this parking lot, so my energy was technically occupying this space before you got here, and now you're standing on my indigenous homeland."
It’s an honor to lose at the spiritual bypassing game from a true spiritual guru, hysterical JP Sears. Follow him.
How to avoid taking responsibility using spiritual bypassing. Warning: Do not try this if you hit someone’s car. Just own up to when you make a mistake and apologize. It’s the most “higher self” thing to do.
Friends, hope you enjoy this half-baked comedy sketch my friend, Tara Parker, and I made about how some people in the local sangha, or "spiritual community," don't know how to take responsibility and own up to when making a mistake.
Relate? It's a fun comedy skit [I will repeat years later with JP Sears] and have a LOT more in the pipeline [to project from by rear end chakra], mostly inspired by my bizarre experiences with bizarre characters one only meets in weird places like Los Angeles.
Know someone who talks like this? They exist. LOL.

Once the Blessed One was staying among the Bhaggas in the Deer Park at Bhesakala Grove, near the Crocodile Haunt. Then early in the morning he dressed and, with robe and bowl, went to the home of the householder Nakula's father (Nakulapitā).
When he arrived he sat on a seat made ready. Nakula's father and Nakula's mother (Nakhulamātā) greeted the Blessed One, bowed, and sat respectfully to one side. Sitting there, Nakula's father said:
The Buddha's parents reunited in this life.
"Venerable sir, ever since Nakula's mother was a young girl brought to me [to be my future wife as arranged by our loving parents] when I was a young boy, I am not aware of being unfaithful to her even in thought, much less in body. We want to see one another in this life and in the future in lives to come."
Nakula's mother then said to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, ever since I was a young girl brought to Nakula's father [to be his future wife] when he was a young boy, I am not aware of being unfaithful to him even in thought, much less in body. We want to see one another in this life and in the future in lives to come."
"Karma: It's Everywhere You're Going To Be."
[The Buddha advised them in karmic terms:] "If both husband and wife wish to see one another in this life and also in lives to come, they should [seek to] be in tune [with one another]
Forget Nikki Minaj. Move over, Cardi B. Doja Cat (born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini on Oct. 21, 1995), is the new top American female rapper, singer, and songwriter.
She first rose to prominence with the release of the highly sexualized music video for her song "Mooo!" ("B*tch I'm a [Holy] Cow"), which went viral in 2018.
She subsequently became known for creating music videos and songs that achieve popularity on social media apps like TikTok.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Doja Cat began making and releasing music on SoundCloud when she was a teenager. She signed a joint record deal with RCA Records and Kemosabe Records at the age of 17 and subsequently released her debut extended play, Purrr!, in 2014.
(Fader) What was it like being a Hindu kid in the ashram? It was "constricting" but cool, too, singing.
She released her debut studio album, Amala, in 2018, followed by a deluxe repackage in 2019, which included the singles "Tia Tamera" and "Juicy." Her second studio album, Hot Pink (2019), reached the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and contains the number one single "Say So."
"Why are you obsessed with me?" tee-shirt
Amala Ratna was born into an artistic family in Tarzana, Los Angeles. Her mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, is a Jewish-American painter and her father, Dumisani Dlamini, is a Zulu from South Africa, an actor, composer, and film producer best known for Sarafina!
Doja Cat has said her father was absent from her childhood and that she has never met him. She told The Fader she did not "hold grudges against him or anything in any way, but obviously it’s a little weird" that he commented on her Instagram posts about how proud he was. Her father has denied these statements, saying he has a "healthy" relationship with his daughter.
Following her birth, she and her mother immediately moved to the Bronx, New York, where they lived for five years. She returned to Oak Park, California with her single mother, where she experienced a "sporty childhood," often skating and visiting Malibu for surf camps.
Life in the Hindu ashram
She returned to Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles at the age of 11 and a half, where she lived in an ashram and practiced Hinduism for four years.
During this time she also took part in breakdancing classes, further joining a competitive troupe. She would frequently skip school to participate in chatrooms. She told Paper that she had a near-"religious" obsession with the unnamed chat room, and would still participate in it as of December 2019.More

Rapper Kendrick Lamar became the first non-classical, non-jazz musician to ever win a Pulitzer Prize for Music. Lamar has topped the charts with music that tackles issues of race, politics, religion, and even mental health. The Pulitzer follows the five Grammy Awards won by Lamar in January for DAMN., his fourth studio album. His previous album, To Pimp a Butterfly, also won five Grammys. Lamar recently produced and curated the soundtrack for the Black Panther film to critical acclaim. He will not, however, tolerate white people singing the word "[blank]" when singing along to his songs even when he calls them up to sing with him. Word. More + VIDEO
COMMENTARY
We disagree with Kendrick and the audience, but it's not our choice. And we don't want it to be our choice. Let Lamar, other rappers, and the oppressed communities referred to be the ones to decide how they are referred to, even when re-appropriating or taking the sting out of a defamatory and highly offensive term with strong racial and socioeconomic terms. Can we all, eventually, just get along? Not now, but in the future? Reparations are needed, but the whole discussion is a non-starter.
WARNING: Vulgar, profanity, N-word, sexual references, gratuitous, ratchet! Oprah Winfrey's favorite album contained "Bodak Yellow," Winfrey claims. Don't sing along!

We're not saying it stinks. We're meditating.
This ain't no Woodstock. Pay extra. Get a tent. It's worth the extra cost once you realize all "Coachella" is is walking around on a giant lawn in the scalding desert. It has a nightly curfew and closes. The party continues in your sweaty sleeping bag, where most of the fun happens if it happens at all. Tracked by RFID chips in wristbands you can't remove. Drones overhead keep everyone on The Reservation. The bottled water and barfy food were great, if a bit overpriced. That's what plastic's for. With 200 acts to see and only hopes of catching about 10 or 11, a fraction of a fraction, it's no wonder some brave hearts come both weekends. When you plan ahead to see the star you want to see, there's a long line ahead of you. So be prepared to barge in and be squished out of breath or stand idly a mile back watching the big screens wondering why watching it online via Wisdom Quarterly wouldn't be a whole lot better and a whole lot cheaper. Cardi B, Mason, Greta Van Fleet, Queen B, Destiny's Child, Solange, The MnM Clone, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, 2Pac, and good old fashioned rave EDM in tents, that's what Boachella has become.
If you're a female, odds are you've randomly been told to smile by a guy on public transport, some dude on the street, or even a man you work with.
It may have happened when you were out running errands or jogging, while you were deliberating on paint colors at the hardware store , or while waiting for your child outside the library. You've probably been prodded to produce a smile at times when you were thinking of other things and, almost certainly, when you were on your own.
The fact that men tell women to smile (often it comes out as an order more than a request -- "Hey, gimme a smile!") is generally understood as an annoying part of sexism in our patriarchal country.
Armed
with signs, catchy phrases, and a motivation to take #MeToo beyond the
Internet to real life, hundreds of women, men, and children gathered
Sunday among the sex shops and tourist traps of Hollywood Blvd. to
protest sexual harassment (AP).
Sometimes it even happens at work where we have legal protections, at jobs that have nothing to do with customer service (where both male and female employees might be asked to project a positive demeanor). Take this Dear Prudence advice-column letter, for example:
"I’m a female lawyer on the brink of making partner at a midsize firm. When I asked what I needed to do to [make partner,] I was told I needed to smile more..."
Here's writer Adrienne Tam's simple and relatable story:
"As I was walking to work this week, a colleague passed by. I didn’t notice him because I was zombie-walking -- daydreaming while placing one foot in front of the other. He waved his arms in front of my face as I moved past him. 'Smile!' he said."
This "smile more" thing affects us all: from high-profile women like [transsexual] athlete Serena Williams (at a press conference) to frowning vampKristen Stewart to... every woman I know. I've been told by a man helping me at a store that he'd only answer my question or get the item I requested if I smiled.
That has happened often enough that the last time it happened, I hardly noticed. When I was younger, I usually tightly smiled while looking embarrassed and demeaned (which is how I felt), but now I just raise my eyebrows in a "Really?" response. I don't get second requests.
I know how to deal with this obnoxiously common query from men, but something I still don't understand is, "Why?"
It just seems so weird to demand something like a smile from someone you don't know -- or even someone you only know a bit. It's basically asking someone to rearrange their face to please you because you've told them to.More
Why?
Wisdom Quarterly (EDITORIAL)
My face muscles just don't work that way.
ONE ANSWER: In our sexist-patriarchal Western society, women have been controlled for a long time by being infantilized.
Females are put on stilts (high heels) so they can barely walk as they wobble, made to wear next to nothing, shaved all over just like an infant, to strive to look forever young and pleasing to please us ALL (males and females).
It's every bitch for herself, bitch
Females do almost as much harm to females as males. (Some say more harm because you expect it from males not from people in the same boat). An infant can't care for itself. It can't hold a job, go to college, drive a car, own property. It is property (chattel slavery)! How can it have its own bank account, use credit responsibly, and so on? It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Everyone fails at things, but not everyone attributes it to his or her gender.
I want my hot infant wife back. I paid for her!
This is even grown women are told to smile. Please us. Be "feminine," be "lady-like." It all means the same thing -- play your role. Be like an amusing and pretty infant, which means keep your mouth shut unless you're smiling or doing something else with that mouth (nudge nudge).
"Conditioned from the start and controlled from all directions, swamped by a normality that mustn't be questioned. Ignorance is only a form of self-deception. Are you not aware of a feeling of humiliation? Don't you have to sell yourself, keep on saying, 'sir'?..."
She is such a pretty girl
Her shape fits well into a mold
Her brain removed, her body's sold
She does exactly what she's told
He is such a brave young man
If his brain can't then violence can
His heart drained since life began
of the compassion it once had
Why go on living in the past?
We just uphold this sexual farce
If past is past is past is past,
Why go on living in the past?
If air to breathe is hard to find
in her tight mold she doesn't mind
She's made to believe she's one-of-a-kind
Her processed mind upholds the line
He in turn plays out his part
we tempted him with from the start
She in turn plays out her part
dictated to her by the past
- Farce EP, Rudimentary Peni
It's okay, it's just a sex robot. Men built it.
And those of us who bought into this scam before we were conscious of it, conscious of anything, long before we were 18, before we were even toddlers, have to struggle to decolonize our minds.
Sexism is like racism in this way; it has been internalized, so it's now not only coming from the outside. Worse, it's coming from the inside. We're doing it to ourselves, too!
They do it, we do it, and we get it form all directions. What's the job of an infant but to entertain, look pretty, and make everyone around ooh and aah.
Ironic: "Our Wedding" (Penis Envy by Crass/Eve Libertine "Bata Motel")
So smile, bitch. It makes us feel better when you smile like you don't mind being oppressed, like you don't mind being belittled, disregarded, dehumanized, cared for so you can't care for yourself.
Then any "cool" gal who plays into the inherent sexism of society at large will be rewarded bigly...but she has to throw others under the bus, sell out the rest of us to do it, all of us, males and females.
Males are not generally aware that they have been infantilizing females (they really think that's females' God-given hapless nature they're protecting) enforcing Judeo-Christian sexism, a rape culture, a hostile work environment, a horrendous patriarchy, the whole morass of social suffering.
All right, all right, you don't have to overdo it! Vampire Kristen Stewart smiles sometimes.
